Kansas City, MO – Bridged Broadband, a newly formed consortium network purpose-built to deliver high-capacity transport and connectivity solutions, announced it has officially joined the INDATEL member family. The partnership enhances Bridged Broadband’s ability to accelerate time to market, expand national reach, and deliver scalable solutions to wholesale, and enterprise customers across Missouri and beyond.

Bridged Broadband is wholly owned by 11 regional service providers and is launching an 800G-enabled backbone network spanning more than 2,200 route miles with 47 points of presence. Phase one of the network covers the northern half of Missouri, with service activation already underway.

For Bridged Broadband President & CEO Michael Brigman, joining INDATEL represents a strategic extension of the consortium’s collaborative DNA.

“From day one, INDATEL has been about collaboration, credibility, and accelerating time to market – and those values align perfectly with what we’re building at Bridged Broadband,” said Michael Brigman, President and CEO of Bridged Broadband. “As a startup network, brand awareness and immediate sales reach matter. Leveraging INDATEL’s established sales channel and industry relationships is a true force multiplier for us. It allows us to step into the market with instant credibility and opportunity.”

Brigman, who previously played executive leadership roles in the formation and growth of multiple statewide fiber networks, emphasized that consortium collaboration is core to Bridged Broadband’s long-term vision.

“This ownership group is one of the most entrepreneurial I’ve worked with. We’re building more than infrastructure; we’re building a platform for partnership. INDATEL strengthens that platform by connecting us to a nationwide ecosystem of providers who are willing to collaborate on best practices, partnerships to mitigate risk, and ultimately create new economic opportunity for the communities we all serve.”

“Bridged Broadband represents exactly what INDATEL was created to support – innovative, provider-driven networks that prioritize collaboration and long-term growth,” said Justin Forte, CEO of INDATEL Services. “Their leadership, technical vision, and commitment to serving rural and regional markets align seamlessly with our mission. We’re excited to help amplify their reach and create immediate value together.”

The collaboration also reflects strong support from Bridged Broadband’s ownership and board leadership. Ryan Johnson, CEO of Chariton Valley & President of the Bridged Broadband Board of Directors, underscored the strategic importance of alignment at both the state and national levels.

“Bridged Broadband was formed because we believe regional providers are stronger together,” said Johnson. “Joining INDATEL extends that philosophy nationally. It gives us expanded market access, shared expertise, and the scale necessary to compete effectively while continuing to invest in the communities we call home.”

As Bridged Broadband builds out its phased statewide vision, technology partnerships also play a critical role in ensuring long-term scalability and performance. Tim Mahoney, Vice President of Sales at Nokia, highlighted the importance of forward-looking infrastructure
strategy.

“Networks being built today must be engineered for tomorrow’s demands,” said Mahoney. “Bridged Broadband’s commitment to high-capacity, scalable architecture and collaborative growth demonstrates the kind of leadership rural and regional markets need. Strategic partnerships like this help advance connectivity and expand opportunity.”

Through its INDATEL membership, Bridged Broadband will leverage national aggregation points, expanded enterprise reach, peer collaboration, and shared operational best practices. The partnership is designed to support early-stage growth while reinforcing a long-term strategy focused on operational efficiency, resilience, and statewide expansion.

“Time to market is critical in this business,” Brigman added. “INDATEL helps us accelerate productivity from day one. That speed benefits not only our company, but the memberowners and communities relying on this infrastructure.”

With its initial backbone deployment underway and expansion planning already in motion, Bridged Broadband enters the market positioned for sustainable growth – grounded in collaboration, powered by shared expertise, and connected through the INDATEL member family.
